Gaston Bravo Pop-Up at Septimus

Gaston Bravo grew up in Mendoza, spent ten years making wine for a French house in Argentina and France, then vintages in Napa and Ningxia, before settling in South Australia. He has made wine here under his own name since 2017: small batches of Langhorne Creek Malbec and Barossa Shiraz, made with a Mendoza winemaker’s feel for the grape.
On Sunday afternoon he takes over the bar and pours the range himself:
- Rosé Malbec 2024, Langhorne Creek
- Paloma Rosé Malbec 2026, Langhorne Creek (a limited release)
- Monino Malbec 2024, Langhorne Creek
- Gratitude Shiraz 2024, Barossa Valley
- Two Homes Shiraz Malbec 2024, Barossa Valley and Langhorne Creek
These are wines made for the table, and they sit well beside charcuterie and mature cheese from our board. Some are made in very small quantities and rarely reach a wine list or a shop shelf.
