2027 at Septimus

Twelve months, twelve wine themes. Each month at Bar Septimus has a masterclass, usually on the third Thursday, with producer pop-ups and feature weekends on the same theme, and Wine Options League on the first Monday. Every second month, Adjourned brings Adelaide’s legal profession to the same table.

How the year works

Masterclass

Usually the third Thursday. Six wines poured with the producer or importer behind them. Arrival from 6pm, seated at 6:30pm, finished by 9pm. Twenty-four seats, from $55 a head depending on the wines, with a small serve of cheese, meat and crackers.

Wine Options League

First Monday, February to December. Six glasses poured blind, four answers to choose from, and a season table that counts your best eight rounds. 6:30 to 8pm, $40, twenty-four seats.

Adjourned

Second Thursday, every second month. A night for the legal profession. An hour on two areas of law, two glasses and shared cheese and charcuterie. 5:30 to 7:30pm, $65, thirty seats.

The Adjourned series

Pop-ups and weekends

Through the month. A producer behind the bar for the afternoon, with a small tasting fee credited when you take home three bottles or more. Feature weekends put the theme by the glass: large formats, vintage bottles and side-by-side flights.

Bring a group

A masterclass suits a client night or a team outing: a fixed start, a fixed finish and something to talk about. For six or more, or to take every seat, email hi@septimus.au. For a private tasting on another night, see corporate functions.

Producers and importers

We are setting the 2027 nights now. If you make or import wine that fits a month, and you would like to host a masterclass or a pop-up at Septimus, email hi@septimus.au or see our trade page.
