Bar Septimus is a two-storey wine bar at 220 Grenfell Street, built for memorable gatherings. From intimate client dinners to full venue corporate functions, we host private events in Adelaide’s East End with curated wine, artisan cheese and genuine hospitality.
THE SPACE
- Whole venue: Two storeys for up to 50 guests, seated or cocktail-style.
- Upstairs, semi-private: A reserved upper level, ideal for smaller groups and semi-private gatherings.
- Counter and bar: Relaxed seating for smaller groups and pre-dinner gatherings.
- Outdoor terrace: Footpath seating for warmer evenings.

The Gathering
Small groups. Grazing boards and wines by the glass at the bar or counter.

The Upstairs
Reserved upper level. Curated cheese and wine flight with the option of a guided tasting led by our winemaker.
From $40 per guest
Exclusive Use
The whole venue, both storeys. Bespoke pairing menu, sabrage on arrival and a dedicated host.
From $80 per guest or POA
